Love You So Much
It's Thanksgiving. It is time that we are thankful for the people in our lives, past, present, and future. It is also a day that I take the time to clean out a significant part of my text messages. I have found that spending time with your text messages occasionally can both clean your phone and rekindle relationships.
This year it did so much more.
As I was on my list, I came across Haley Sue Pearson, it was an older text, where we were getting ready to meet. IT was right before a dinner and we discussed directions and I ended with “I love you” while she replied, “I love you so much”.
I looked at this text for a while and it was fitting, and at the same time it was a little more. Haley didn’t just love you, she loved you so much. She loved you so much she would be there for you. She loved you so much you felt loved. She loved you so much you never doubted you were loved. She loved with all her heart and more.
We can all learn something from this short little statement. Maybe it is time we don’t just love, but we love so much, we love with a passion and commitment that few understand. When it is time for us to be there, we will not just love our friends and family a little. We will not just love our husband, wife, girlfriend, boyfriend or another person normally, instead it is time we consider a new form of love. Let’s all love so much that people never doubt, never feel bad, never wonder, let’s love people “so much” that they will know in their heart they are loved.
Haley did it, so can we.
